How is Voice Feminization Surgery performed?
Under general anesthesia it takes about 1 hour. It is made by a small incision on the neck and/or through the mouth.
Is it necessary to rest the voice after Voice Feminization Surgery?
It is recommended to rest the voice for about 1 week after surgery
Do you recommend voice therapy after Voice Feminization Surgery?
Postoperative voice therapy is extremely useful both in terms of making the healing process healthier and learning the feminine speech features.
At what age is voice deepening surgery performed?
The deepening of the voice in males is completed at the end of adolescence. Therefore, if there is still a high pitched voice problem after adolescence, voice deepening surgery can be performed.
Does the human voice change with surgery?
Yes, it does. Voice change surgeries give us the opportunity to change the pitch of the voice and obtain a more feminine or masculine voice.
Does smoking deepen the voice?
